Day Centre For Older People
Our Day Centre in Coventry provides a range of services aimed at reducing social isolation experienced by older people living in the area.
We provide a wide range of social activities and services at our day centre, including:
- arts and crafts
- music and poetry
- exercise classes
- day trips
- information and advice
- mini bus service to and from the centre
In addition to centre-based activities, we offer an outreach programme providing assessment, guidance and support to the most vulnerable people in the community who are unable to access mainstream services.

Momentum Care's day centre is partly funded by the Emigrant Support Programme administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland.
Who is it for?
The day service supports older adults who need to access day care in the community and/or need to access support in our new day centre in Foleshill.
The centre offers a safe and friendly environment for people who wish to meet new people, learn new skills, and try new activities. It is open to those aged 50 years and over - including people with Alzheimer’s, Dementia and any mental health needs, regardless of disability.
It was originally set up to care for older adults in Coventry who are of Irish origin, and that is still part of its work.
How can it be accessed?
The service can be accessed in a number ways - through direct contact with the centre itself or through Coventry City Council.
